Sandboxes kind of rank high for me. sometimes I just want a no story zen like experience. Though I've been noticing rpg story elements being integrated into more sandboxes lately. Kind of a big fan going in with no clear goals or quests other than ones you set for yourself.

Depends what kind of mood I'm in, I will most likely lean towards 3d for the animation and realism. I might go between phases where I'll go full 3d for weeks and then some 2d.
I've never really thought about this. I geuss it doesn't bother me as it doesn't break any immersion for me in any way. Now that I think about it, most MCs in 3d games do have a face where as 2d and anime games seem to dwindle in that aspect. But not always.
