    A prequel would be nice. Or a spin-off, or just do stuff elsewhere in Middle-Earth with new characters but the same systems. It's a big setting, after all. I'd take almost anything if it's good.

    It's a pity. I can think of a number of IPs where something like the Nemesis system would have been neat, and helped enhance gameplay. RIP Monolith. Apparently Warner Bros' patent on it expires in ... 2036? Another 11 years of it sitting pretty on their shelves, at a minimum then.
