Problem is, they might not even bother investigating, but just decide that they believe the report, especially if a second user also reports the same thing. They aren't government/police, so they don't have to follow "innocent until proven guilty". -

I think I remember him saying that working on this game sometimes puts him in a bad place and that is the main reason he takes breaks to work on Burned, so I agree that we can be optimistic that a long hiatus isn't necessarily a bad sign and he eventually comes back to this one. -
