It depends on the kind of game I'm playing but overall I would say that a slow burn romance is more satisfying. Anybody that reads terrible Chinese web novels will know that protagonists that immediately become overpowered are boring to read. The same applies to romance/sex. If it's too easy...
Generally I would say no. There are situations where I just don't like reading a game from the protagonist's perspective because I don't like the protagonist but those are individual games.
It depends on the game. Is it a sandbox style game with RPG elements that can be played multiple times? I'd rather have shorter updates.
If it's a standard story-based VN then I want longer updates with more content.
I remember a friend talking about that game saying that the developer was doing something shady but like 99% of things I hear I can't remember the important details. It's a shame that a seemingly decent game got a rushed ending.
I've made a few free games already. All were bad. Will I continue to make games? Probably not.
I'm kind of at the point where I no longer found myself improving and that made it less fun to make the games. I'd need to put a lot more focus into game development to improve and I just don't...
I really try to give the story a chance but sometimes a game has really cringeworthy dialogue and horrible characters so I'll speed ahead to see if it gets any better. It almost never does.
Management.
They tend to be a bit too easy for H games but something like Strive where you need to manage your workers is something that I enjoy a lot. It's not exactly what people expect but I like emergent gameplay and you can't really get that from most other types of games.
