I would say it depends heavily on the game. On the other hand we got games with "do this 20 times, there isn't any variation on the images / actions" and then there is games where you feel like you are progressing. The grinding without any meaning is like bad sandbox without any content: click... -

What game engine do you prefer adult games to use?
Depending heavily on the game and how the actual story is (yes, plot can be more than just boobs): -RenPy works on most cases (sandbox without any content is another pit) -RPGM can be tedious with running around map for 10 minutes to see one scene and then back gain. (and those filler battles)...- mutsmobi
