If it works well, it doesn't really matter to me.
But Ren'Py is the standard these days, and works for most things, so while I do not need it, It's a great engine.
Yeah, It's impressive on the scale of learning the entire engine from scratch and still delivering, I tend to not complain when it comes to stuff like that.
This game has potential and will likely be considered one of the best if it stays at the current level when it's all completed.
If I have the money for them, I buy them, but sometimes I would rather put my money into some of my other hobbies. Everyone knows how it is some of these days lol.
Way too often.
My backlog grows quite regularly, so I'm gonna have to stop looking every once and a while.
That's not even counting my non H-Game/Adult Game backlog, I still have 3 100+ Hour titles in the Shutokou Battle/Tokyo Xtreme Racer series to 100%
This is me as well, albeit I do re-reads as I'm a completionist.
Anyways, since I'm pretty sure we already have enough members of the Tomboy religion here, I'm not gonna need to go into explaining why that may be my top tag.
Some lore of myself coming up.
Ace Combat 7 had a yet-to-be-surpassed effect on turning me into a member of the Church of Short Hair.
If you know, you know.
If you get it from there, don't forget the patch, albeit I myself can go without H-Scenes (*cough* KANON/AIR *cough*), some people might not be able to so best to remind that.
For Racing Simulators:
NASCAR Racing 2003 Season
Richard Burns Rally
GTR2 (or any SimBin title, really)
rFactor 1
Arcade Racers? Well I'd like to thank the Game Dev Gods for a New Tokyo Xtreme Racer after 19 years.
For Japanese VNs, there's no better starting place than Katawa Shoujo, even if the game itself isn't Japanese, it's got the tropes, the artstyle, etc.
Well shit now that's a re-read I'm gonna have to do sooner or later.
Yeah, I have disk space limitations from non-VNs, but hey, I wasn't competing in as much sim racing as of late, so nuking one of those 100GB monstrosities probably was worth it lol.
Haven't even started reading this, and already pretty stoked for it, I've got a few ones to go in my backlog before getting to it, but can't wait to read this.
