The atmosphere of a movie theater is unbeatable at times but it is just the effort and price to go to one which puts me off so often, not to mention I don't really want to watch most of the movies in theatres.
Honestly if I wanted just the sex I would look up images online. Text based games show this quite well with how you have to actually somewhat engage with it and the writing and story is what at times can make these games more enjoyable than simply sexy images or text
So long as it isn't overbearing and the entire game is dedicated around the premise of it then I do not mind so long as it makes sense and isn't very obstructive in how it looks.
I try to pace myself and enjoy an update but sometimes I do that and forget completely that I never finished it until the next update comes along and I slowly get behind until I go for option 1 where I play it to enjoy the content then go back on replays to scenes I liked the best.
I like playing through games as they are updated because it helps me stagger my playtime with it and then every few major updates I will play it again. I understand that with most of these games they either will never get finished or rushed to an ending so I like to enjoy it more as I go in...
A lot of games which take a long time to play through do that for me. I spend ages learning and getting to know these characters then it just ends and I am left there like "welp... now what"
Typically I will go for a non-harem end the first few times then end up with the harem end either as a new playthrough or if there is a gallery I will just see what I was missing out on, mainly though because the Harem ends usually have a lot more work involved with them
Animations typically take more time than they ever will be worth compared to simply adding another varation of an image with some motion inbetween. I don't need a full 24fps scene fully animated awkwardly when you can just have a few hand made frames which you swap through at times of your choosing.
Depth definitely for me. I always find it annoying when I see a game I love a few characters in but the dev keeps adding more and never gets back to the original ones which I got into the game for. It also becomes much harder to flesh out any character if you can't get enough time to even get to...
I think there is always a good argument both sides. Immersion is vital in a lot of games but at the same time I feel like there is a strong viewpoint on having fun non-serious porn games
If a game has a 3 star or below rating with more than 1 review then I will deeply question if it is worth my time playing, but if there is only one review then it could just not be someones cup of tea.
I love when games have galleries with hints, unlock all button at the end of the game, CG slideshows and a replay system as well. It is the perfection of galleries since it allows you to unlock things if you cant be bothered playing through again and if you want just the art you can view it or...
I would say it depends very heavily on the game. If you are going into a game for a quick one and done then I agree that it should cut to the chase, and I also think that some games would do well to have at least a teaser of sorts for some of the scenes and then go back to slow burning. But I...
When someone makes a game in UE5 it looks nice but I can feel my computer start to take off simply at the idea of running the game, a lot of indie devs making games in it get caught up in the world looking nice that they forget to make the game playable and it ends up being more of a walking sim...
I almost always go for a female character unless there is a direct reason I wouldn't, such as if the game is based around a male MC viewpoint and choosing female locks you out of scenes.
