i dont mind sand box elements in games, just dont use it as an excuse to pad out your game. If the game is only gonna have 10 hours of content as a VN and 15-20 as a sand box, then im generally gonna prefer the VN approach.
Depends on the game. If you're going for a more serious tone for your game, maybe dont have body proportions that are'nt that realistic. But if you have a more comedic/ lighter tone, then sure do what you want.
Opinions on Holiday updates for games.
Personally, i could do without them. They take away time from normal updates and never seem to add anything of worth.
Bad 3D art - When the premise of a game is great but i can't get over how bad the 3d art is.
Grinding - grinding for the sake of extending play time.
Bad Story - Art and premise is great but actual story is too damn stupid.
As long as i like the art style, and the images are consistent. i dont much care how the images are created. I'm not sure that were quite there yet though.
Games where the breast size isn't anywhere near realistic. It just looks stupid. I've seen big breasts IRL and the games go WAY overboard with them. Immediately puts me off a game, if every character has them.
As someone who wasn't a massive ME fan. I thought andromeda was eaily on par with some of the trilogy. It had alot more bugs/crashes at launch which didn't help. But overall it was a decent to good game easily on par with ME1 and parts of 2/3.
