I have to say, I'm only on Episode 9 but this is such a great game. Easily the best written AVN I've played. Hopefully it can keep it up through the end.
I'm telling myself I can be patient and there will be a load of updates waiting for me when I can finally afford it, but that's looking like 6 months from now.
In general I find that I am "over" sandbox adult games. Which is basically every RPGM game, with the added downside of being extremely cumbersome to navigate.
I played Treasure of Nadia and I think that's about as good as an RPGM game can be, but I still can't muster up the will to play...
Playing Shale Hill Secrets at the moment. I would consider it the only adult game where I'm legitimately there for the story. The sex scenes are not bad, particularly because the character are well written, but I've actually skimmed through a couple to get back to the plot.
Oh, and then there's...
Back in the day, anything in the dating sim genre on Newgrounds. Ganguro Girl, Love Hina, Simgirl...many more I forgot.
Then back in 2017 Summertime Saga caught my eye, specifically because it reminded me of those old-school dating sims I played on Newgrounds. Ironically, I remember being...
I'm really impressed with this rework. Did the character renders need improvement? Nah. But the writing, dialogue, setting, and story-flow are really tightened up. The characters look even better, and the backgrounds are especially improved.
Of course, this rework update only covered about a...
Compared to Hard to Love's recent rework, it's hard for me to see this as anything but a new way to milk the game. I looked forward to Summertime Saga once upon a time, but it's been seven years!
I will heartily recommend this game, but be prepared for some very unsatisfying endings/epilogues. Felt like they focused more on making you feel bad for who you didn't pick.
Still, it was amazing to see how far this game came along, and kudos to the dev for seeing the project to completion.
I want to give credit to the dev for their work ethic, they cranked out two games while more popular devs are still milking one.
It's unfortunate that I feel there are two good games here that don't play well together. Progress in the AVN side and the management side are often at odds with one...
I recommend this game. Unique visual style, good animations, and I liked that the cast wasn't too big. Each girl got a lot of attention. I'm not usually a fan of plot-heavy or fantasy/supernatural settings, but this one was handled very well and served to make the girls and sex scenes more...
It is just a prologue, but I'm really impressed by it. Good visuals, nice cast from what we can see, writing seems decent. I like that the lewd content that is there has a reason to be there. Take it slow with the main girls, but don't just tease the audience.
I'll definitely be keeping an eye...
This is a very frustrating one, because the dev is clearly capable of better when they try. Great setting, visuals, and characters. Some good branching scenes early on. But man, there's a *lot* of dialogue that feels like a first pass. I assume English isn't their first language, and they should...
I can't think of another game so imbalanced. Beautiful renders, awful story. Great character designs, terrible dialogue. No one talks like an actual person. A twist I could get behind is this is actually Camila's story she's writing to deal with her loneliness and feelings for her Uncle, but the...
Good start! I did cringe a bit at the MC intro but overall you did a good job capturing a realistic family feel. The animations are a nice proof of concept I suppose, but honestly with that framerate I don't think they're worth it in the long run. And I am somewhat wary of using someone like...
Since the last time I've played a stat system was added. Instead of reloading after each choice to see the impact, I prefer to use walkthrough mods and started to make my own. However, I noticed that there were already postscripts for each choice, but these are invisible to the player. Does...
