    These days it's probably graphics, I struggle with the grainy/dated look now that didn't bother me a few years ago. After that, it's about characters and dialogue - make either of those boring and it can quickly feel like playing the game is a grind

    Can't remember a specific time where it's distracted me from the game story. Oddly enough I used to find it more distracting when all female characters seemed to share the 90% the same clothes across games

    Aimless grind in sandbox - don't mind those with clear direction and good in-game logs etc Too many side characters to drag out updates and avoid progression with the main LIs

    How big of a harem is too big?

    The sweet spot is about 5 to 6 girls who's characters and stories have been well developed, always hotter when there's a 3D personality attached to each girl

    Not sure if you're concern is it's too quick or too long but I would say there is a good amount of content without being too grindy like some sandbox games. Absolutely worth a go if you like fantasy genre
