I think there's a catch-22 going on - Devs (often with a very good start to games) are struggling to get financial backing from supporters, but potential supporters (us) are fed up of committing to games for them to get abandoned more often than not and so want to see proper progress/commitment...
I find that most games with a patch are clearly meant to be played with it. I prefer the choose your relationship method though, unsure why more devs don't do this
Good game but it feels like it's not really meant to have incest in? They kind of just don't mention their relationships which removes the whole taboo kink
Graphics man, they're so key now. Didn't use to be the case but some games have just gone to a whole new level and it makes it difficult to want to play the lower quality stuff, even if they have a great story etc
Yes but less so these days.
i've noticed some of my favourite games have very average ratings and I've realised it's because some people downvote because they don't like an NTR part of the game or something, rather than judging the actual game quality.
It's about respect for players time I think. Nothing wrong with sandbox if it is done well and the grind is kept to a minimum.
The problem is when it's completely unintuitive and you're spending hours just hoping you click on the right thing and the right time to get content, or if you have to...
There isn't enough fantasy games where the graphics are of high quality to match any story/world building - I think if a dev comes along and gets that right, you'd have a hugely successful game.
