Mass Effect 3 was such a disappointment. They build the franchise on giving the player total control and then lock you into endings where you can't save everyone. After how great ME2 was, it was all the worse.
I grinded a ton in Fallout 4 for materials. I needed them to build a massive settlement. It was fully walled with auto turrets, a main gate with security, a shopping district, a wasteland-themed bar and a four-story, glass-walled apartment building with electricity and bathrooms for every unit.
This pretty much summed up everything I was thinking. It's hard to believe in a project when they begin a sequel without completing the first effort in good faith.
This had a lot of interesting ideas but it seemed that the dev didn't really have a clear idea how to make in unfold through a narrative. A lot of the time, the story was pretty hard to follow or disjointed enough to kill any impact it might have had.
After reading so many comments on how bonkers this story is, I decided to give it a try despite not finding any of the character models all that appealing. I'm glad I did and it reenforces my faith in the wisdom of the forums here.
Dr. Pink Cake is legendary. Strong stories, character development and sex scenes -- it's all great. I am a huge fan and can't recommend their titles enough.
