I used to like cats but I'm a through and through dog person now, as long as I'm not the owner. I love playing with my friends' dogs. All the fun with no responsibilities.
I got into adult games a couple of years ago. At first, I could find a great new game or two every week. Nowadays, it's a hunt to find something that doesn't feel like a slog at all. And yes, games+ didn't seem to be quite what I had expected it to be.
The new system is quite well detailed but I still haven't understood how reading score works. Someone mentioned that you get points when you respond on threads you are reading but I haven't seen that happen consistently yet.
