It was much better than the third one which felt like filler with nothing achieved at the end of it. First, second and fourth one - big bad guy dies, third one - a bunch of henchmen die. -

nah, Breaking Bad had a great ending. Your ending would have punished Skyler forcing her to keep his secret while he would appear as a victim to his kids and a pillar of the community. In that scenario they might even name a street or a park after him. -

Completed or Ongoing games?
Most of these games are never completed but at lot of them are worthwhile even when abandoned (e.g. Midlife Crisis). -
Restart from scratch or from a save?
mostly just going from the last save unless something changed that prevents me from using that save. -
Continue making game or improve early chapters?
might be best to just create a few short stories while they improve their skills. -
