The anime cuts out like 50% of the novel contents, even more than that with the movie, so there's a lot of info that is missed. The author claims he's finishing "Overlord" in 2 more volumes, but he's been known to write a ton of side stories within its world so who knows if it's truly ending...- irrevesible
