And I still haven't got around to Sunshine Love. Is it that they're so wholesome/vanilla? I don't think so. Unfortunately the kinky sequel/spinoff to DMD has its limitations too - quite disorganised. Great premise though!
It's funny how this one has come back up to the surface with everyone's memories of their first NSFW games. I only played it through the once, but I know there were other paths not taken that would have had some hot scenes on them. I remember how if you were on the harem path there were still...
The Sinful City Fight for Love - I've never even heard of this one. So I'll try it (providing it's Ren'py). I feel that Radiant is kinda overrated but I realise I'm in the minority. DMD ran out of steam long before it finally expired.
Some of the LIs really don't look appealing. I am a collect-em-all harem-lover, not too fussy, but that game stretches the envelope for what's actually desirable. Dev seems to be going for a policy of diversity which is admirable in its way but cuts against 'conventional' ideas of attractiveness.
Dark Neighborhood! My Dorm too, but there are... other issues with that one which work against a solid recommendation. Dark Neighborhood had some really great scenes (and hairy ones) but it wasn't easy to find them.
Pleeeeeease no mini games. So tiresome. Just a bar to progress. I gave up Summertime Saga because of the minigames. I just think, if that's the kind of thing you want to do, there are a million other and better places for it.
I like this genre but I think devs find it really hard to bring to an end (a satisfying end, or just any end). It's like, they have to be rescued at some point, unless you just fade out on 'and they all lived happily ever after'. There is a v cool island game to watch but I really don't think I...
Yes, it is whacky, and that can be funny, but after a while I gave up on it, because the story felt so jerky and random. It became hard to follow and so the h/scenes felt like they just came and went. But I'm The Bad Guy works on the same lines but it's done way better.
Some good recommendations here (I must try Amnesia) for for me hands down it's The Guardian, partly because of the different love/control paths. (Couple of great scenes in Proud Father, tho). And increasinly Polyturnon features a lot of it.
