    To be fair the old disney movie is indeed a little old and the style can be a little unfamiliar to childreen but a) a live action is not the solution b) disney sucks at writing lately c) the money is indeed most likely the only reason they are doing it.

    Yeah, heard they rewrote it multiple times and the final version was a somewhat bland but pasable story. But it's a disney live action and that's bad enough. I think most of people hate comes from the production and not from the movie itself.
