They've provided proper expectations about the game plausibly being updated in January. A well narrated story with nice static renders does not need animations at all. Japanese eroges did not rely in animations to convey compelling sexual scenes. I'm pretty new in this scene, barely over 2-3 years roaming boards but it is what it is. Not everything is about money, and if anybody thinks doing VNs is a waste of time if it can't result in some sort of income then they should just get a second job.
