What ruins a game?
Sandbox grinders. Scat. To a lesser extent, Engrish (EaSL can be excused. Natives have no excuse.) Loss of control of situations (Power Vacuum is an exception with its built in rewind mechanics.) Bullshit plot twists.- setzer

For me it started on Literotica. I would cruise the site for stories and would get mood killed by how much I found the scenarios just unrealistic, even for porn standards. Seen one dev expecting money to fall out of the sky because of his renders. The fact he drip fed his content never crossed his mind as to why he never got more support.
