    I'm a completionist, so I like seeing every possible branch and path in a game. So usually what I do is first take all of the "alternative" path, and then finish with the one that I want to be my head canon, which is generally the good/nice path.

    Only if I think the game was marked as abandoned by mistake, and the dev might actually get back to it at some point. But for the vast majority of games, I prefer to spare myself the pain of remembering the time that I put into it and the wasted potential.

    Well, since I'm male, a male MC is slightly preferable, since it's more relatable. But it's not a big deal to me if they're not, specially if the game is well written. And also, since most of the games actually have a male MC, a female one from time to time can be a refreshing welcomed change.
