It's fascinating what you can get out of HS if you really make an effort. Story-wise, it's not exactly reinventing the wheel (but anything is better than returning to your estranged family). Well-designed characters, mystery, time travel and just my kind of humor. Great game, I eagerly await...
The start was good, the story interesting, the characters varied but somewhere along the way it went downhill. The different endings got it back on track, they weren't all good but brought the story to a good conclusion
It always depends on the gameplay elements. I think small puzzles to progress are ok, or even the odd mini-game, as long as you don't need a degree to understand the mechanics. Stats grind is not gameplay for me, but if the story itself is good, I can live with it.
Time to take a look again
Played the game for the last time almost 2 years ago and it was great. Graphics, setting, sound, everything just fit together perfectly.
From crypto playboy to family man in under a week. The story is not exactly Shakespearean material but good enough for this type of game, renders are good but not exceptional.
The game is fun there is a suddenly blood related daughter then the adoption of a random orphan who just wanted to sell...
I think this is the game with the most pregnancies. I am now at 40+ children and no end in sight.
There is a VN mode or sandbox to choose from, I've played both and I have to say sandbox is the better choice because you can put the content in the way that suits you best.
The quality is rather...
Oh wow, that's a difficult question. I would normally say I'd rather have a sudden ending than Limbo. But then I think of GoT Season 7 and 8 and suddenly Limbo doesn't sound so bad after all...
I think I'd rather have abandoned than have the whole story destroyed with an inappropriate ending.
I started this game in Ren'Py's time and liked it a lot. Then after switching to Unity I ignored it for a while because the Unity controls are just too uncomfortable for VN. However, after they created an almost 1:1 copy of the Ren'Py interface including controls with Unity, I came back and was...
I love this game, good renders, variety in the character design and also different paths for the individual LI.
Unfortunately, this is also the biggest criticism I have. Due to the number of different paths, the main story comes to a standstill, it feels like you've been playing the same day...
For me, it depends on the game and the choice of music and Soundeffects.
There are games that have a really good soundtrack and then there are some with 3 "songs" that play in an endless loop at completely inappropriate moments.
It's similar with the sound effects, if they fit in well with...
If it were financially possible for me, I would permanently support every dev whose game I like, but that would add up to a few hundred euros a month. i occasionally support for 1-2 months, e.g. when an update for a game has just been released.
I must have tried out a few hundred games, many of which were garbage, but also a lot of good ones.
I alternately support 4-5 games on Patreon, depending on how constantly the content is added. I don't have a permanent subscription for individual games but support for 1-2 months if I like the...
