    Short answer: the overlords that own the monetization sites don't like it. In order for the devs to keep their accounts, they can't have it in the story. The work around is either patches or the ability to change the relationships.

    Dialog. Nothing will make me drop a game quicker than bad dialog. Whether it's a bad translation (engrish), poor grammar, or inappropriate word choice, if it's not well written I'll probably give up on it.

    Both are needed to be a good game/AVN, but if I had to choose which is more important, I would go with plot. Great art with a bad plot will cause me to quit, but a good story can stand on it's own.

    Kind of difficult to articulate, but balance. If it's "too easy" then I might as well just watch straight porn, but if it takes too long to get to the point, or if there is a repetitous grind to build up a point system, the I eventually lose interest.
