Introduce a stat system which gives you very little pay off and give you 3 chances during a game day (broken down usually between "morning - Noon - Night").
So far I only watched super cuts or short animations people do online of the Holo girls. I could not seat for hours on end for something funny to happen.
My biggest pet peeves has to be the obligatory/mandatory story mission where you are strip of all you gear. In open games i usually skip the story and roam around and just explore, annihilate, loot everything in sight. So I am totally prepared to handle anything the game dishes out then WHAM...
I do prefer choices as long as hey are meaningful and provides branching paths and different outcomes at the end. Makes me appreciate the game a bit more and the replay value much more exciting. With a linear game, is a quick ctrl hold and out to the bin.
Same here. I do enjoy 3D but looking at the same models just get boring. Not to mention in the wrong hands they seem to have an uncanny valley feel to it.
I usually go for 3D, but seeing same asset models over and over and over makes it hard to enjoy. I kinda been trying to get into 2D, but meh...
Then AI just freaks me out.
