Unity. As per usual for Unity games in general it doesn't have to be an unoptimized resource hog (but it usually is) and it's perfectly capable of having good UX with a proper interface and navigation (but it usually doesn't).
If you're gonna make a puzzle game, then make a puzzle game (with good puzzles.) Throwing shitty puzzles into a game because you feel like you need to add gameplay of any sort is terrible. Nobody wants to suddenly do a sliding puzzle just to advance. A puzzle in a game that otherwise doesn't...
Mixdrop has always sucked. For me, using Firefox, Ublock Origin and usually changing any of the weird URLs to "mixdrop.ag" would get it to work. Avoid it if you can.
I've seen some pretty good looking AI art. I think a big problem is consistency with the output. Not the quality but the actual content within a generated image. I haven't seen a scene in a game yet where the environment doesn't change noticeably frame to frame.

I don't think the windows version uploaded here contains anything in the preview pictures. It might be some very early build or something.
I can see the file sizes on itch.io are a lot larger so I'm pretty sure that's the case.
