How do you remember what's been happening in between updates?
If the plot is engaging enough, I just remember. Maybe a little roll back, but that usually does the trick. IF there is a LOT of time between significant updates, and the plot is lacking, maybe I would just skip from the beginning, and the images do refresh my memories. If thats not enough...- Crpapjda

Hot take - every game should have an "unlock gallery and replay" option.
Its not a "hot take" at all. We all agree to that, it should be the standard. Like opacity for the dialogue box, and a "skip already seen". These are minimal QOL upgrades that all VN/VN games should have, and many non VN games too.- Crpapjda

Yes, OP proposed that scenario, but what the other dude said sounded like he wanted MC to stay the same age. In that regard, this could be a possibility. With this, you can have MC growing older with some LI, and at the same time other LI that grow faster than MC- Crpapjda
