I've been told before that I leave a poor first impression with people so I think I just kind of internalized that and stay within my personal small clique of friends.
They're fine when the reward is just a bunch of non-canon gallery renders, but not a fan if story-related events or paths are locked behind finding them.
I don't mind grinding, except when the game makes you grind the exact same sex scenes to farm "affection points". Nobody wants to see the exact same bath scene 50 times over with the same dialogue and renders.
When a game has "jumpscare" sound effects like a gunshot or a scream and then uses it to make you go deaf every other update because the game is otherwise silent.
Know where your story is going to go and how it is going to end before you start. Too many games just set up their plot and then circle their wheels forever to keep juicing subs.
