oh yuh lmao. 1960 peeping tom is like the first "found footage" film, i was thinking of that. it's ok.... i think it didn't age as well as some of the other early classics like rosemarys baby/psycho
some horror comedy recs if you haven't seen them: killer klowns from outer space, trollhunter, murder party, greener grass, werewolves within, ready or not, the night sitter, blood diner (crazy), i sell the dead, anything for jackson
i saw peeping tom not too long ago but i remember feeling kind of underwhelmed over it. but maybe i was just tired. i can appreciate it was revolutionary in some ways
ofc! if i extended my top 5 out to 10 or 15 i'm sure REC would be there. found footage is maybe-probably my favorite horror subgenre, although 80s cheese stuff like the blob 1988 and night of the demons are fun too.
really underrated found footage that i've seen like 5 times: BUTTERFLY KISSES...
haha yes i've seen this, i don't remember much about it but i remember it had that weird-dreamy thing.
for what it's worth, if you come across a recent found footage arthouse horror called the outwaters, don't watch it. my goodness what meandering garbage
those are some refined picks, coherence is fucking awesome. resolution is a good one which isn't too similar but it shares that lower budget mindfuck horror-weirdness. it follows is incredible, i think it didn't have a strong ending and that's the only reason it's not a veritable classic
if there are any horror nerds out here
for me: return of the living dead (1985), scream (1996), lake mungo (2008), blackcoat's daughter (2015), the evil dead (1981)
not much good horror over the past couple years at least to my taste, but i really liked the passenger from last year. but it's...
Night of the Demons II is better than the first 😁
also i think i have rewatched 28 weeks later more than 28 days later even though the first is generally considered the better film.
i paid $9 to get better downloads on the subscribestar, but the only download is the same gofile link lmao. dont make that mistake
try a different browser, switched from 3 days to 90 minutes
edit: nevermind, the other browser dropped down to 8kb/s
