Bad Guy is a decent read. For your first read that one steps straight into the deep end lol!
Netorare has always been a no go for me. Though I have found some Netori stuff to be a good read.
NLT IMO, makes the absolute best RPGM games! From the story to the visuals they use the engine and make it so unrecognizable from the run of the mill point and click RPGM games. Worth the read and sometimes the grind that comes with it.
Oh yeah, I remember CoC! I rarely see any great text-based stuff anymore. Though I would probably struggle to read it these days with being spoiled with great visuals now.
It has been a while since I read a Jap VN. My first Illusion game was R Lay lol... Crazy to see the response that got when...
What made you all start reading/playing AVNs? How did you find good places to share and talk about your interest?
I wanted to talk about what made me become such a huge fan of adult visual novels and just VNs in general. First one I ever read was Nekopara Vol. 1. Introduced to me from a random...
This story is very interesting... I love how you can be a super good dude or fucking Harvey Weinstein in the same story lmao... I have been reading it doing what I believe are 3 distinct routes. You have the straight up good rich guy, the money lets me take almost anything I want rich guy and...
Some earlier screenshots of Jaye are what drew me to this story at first. Had no idea what I was getting into with all the characters looking like supermodels lol... After reading up until the latest update I can say I am completely hooked. Could not have predicted where some of this was going...
Mist was a bit of a mixed bag for me but ultimately still pretty decent. I found myself losing interest in the story towards the later parts of it. It did manage to hook mostly me throughout even with it's simplistic combat and cliche characters though. I would say it is worth playing even if...
True but for me when it comes to playing older games it's not a tough transition for me. I recently finished the Tomb Raider 1-3 remaster. The only tough time I had was reintroducing myself to the tank controls again. Now in the case of an older VN, it's a much harder pill to swallow. The rough...
If your a fan of the Cyberpunk setting you will absolutely love this story. This was the reason I was so interested in CDPRs game in the first place. I love how the world is so fleshed out with extra things to read like an encyclopedia breaking down the character, factions and history. Not...
Man I really tried going back to check out the old stuff but it's a little too rough for me lol... The way the technology has progressed and how amazing some of these stories are now makes it almost impossible to re-read older titles these days. I can definitely admit to being spoiled in that...
The renders and characters in this story are amazing! I think this is the first story I read where you can choose the sex of the MC. It made me want to do both and see the outcomes of my choices through the various scenes. Well worth the read for how interesting the story story progresses!
The story here is really good! Never read anything with this starting premise before. The renders are great and the characters have personality. Though at first Ashley seems a little cliche but Emily is definentley best girl though lol.....
I started reading this at a time where I was completely burned out on sandbox games. Most of them feel disjointed with scenes and character interactions often lagging behind the overarching narrative. Though this game is not completely free of those problems, it does a better job at keeping...
Man I love the renders and story here! Only thing I wish is that the updates were more consistant. After reading a bit into the problems I can understand why they were so inconsistant though.....
I too love a slow burn in the stories I read. As regards to the the story being very "wordy" at times, I can agree. The latest update in particular felt that way. Glad I'm not the only one who noticed this.
This is the first story I read from Lockheart. His writing is great and I love all of the female love interests in each story. After reading this and then A Moment of Bliss I can't wait to see where Over the Moon goes!
This and Man of the House were the first 3DCG things I ever read/played. At that time the technology was just getting to a point where it was not so janky looking. I strictly only read 2D VNs up until that point and this is one of the stories that made me a believer in 3D. The tech has come a...
