It's just a quality increase. It's not even an upscale really, I can barely notice the difference on my 4k monitor. It's pretty much an increase from 90-95% quality compression to lossless for a quadrupling in file size on average, and it's only in the first part of the prologue. This change...- yoyomistro

Yea about two GB is just increased sized renders from the the prologue. About 800 MB/ 730 images are new content. Meh most "bugs" in VNs are typos in terms of speakers or variables, or incrementing a variable without instantiating it. This stuff is easy to track/fix with WinMerge/GREP, and shouldn't happen in the first place if you have a good planning tool like Trello, etc to track your labels and...- yoyomistro

Most Patreon-like sites are set up specifically to not be selling content, so the terms you're acquiring the dev's work under would probably make it difficult to sue if the site wasn't charging for the work they're sharing anyway. Yea, I wish we'd gotten all the backstory in the actual game instead of as expositions. That would have kinda ruined the storytelling as the MC's lack of knowledge is important to the process, but would have been hot to see everyone tiptoeing around each other.- yoyomistro

It's most definitely not low quality. Sure, the renders aren't god-tier, and that's probably up to the dev's hardware. But the animations and posing are incredibly well done and speak to the dev's ability.- yoyomistro
