Which I think further proves my point. There were absolutely wild romance options in BG3 and one of the world's largest toy manufacturers was like "ship it." Somehow in this once instance Hasbro had brassier balls than any traditional AAA publisher.- CubbyBuddy

Thoughts on some Grinding/effort in games?
It heavily depends on what and its purpose. Sometimes things are grindy because they are intended to just be milestones or just things you work for while doing other things.
