It needs to be finished or from a dev that has shown they finish their projects. The primary thing that prevents me from paying is knowing how likely it is that they will abandon the game or take years to make any real progress.
Nice art, but the game is basically just a demo right now, and the dialog really needs to be cleaned up. It doesn't sound natural at all and is filled with typos. But, if the game continues, it could be pretty interesting.
Most of the jocks were also gamers, they just didn't talk about it in public as much. They still went home and played Fallout or whatever was popular at the time. The nerds just had more niche hobbies. Both groups were pretty chill and never really had anything against each other.
I am the exact opposite. When I have work to do, I'm too busy thinking about the work to focus on gaming. I have to be done with anything important before I can sit down and enjoy a game. But I can doomscroll for a few minutes while I'm in between tasks.
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if we get to a point soon where you need to have your ID tied to any of the big AI services. But as AI image/video generation gets better and cheaper over time, stopping people from just using offline, local models or models from nations with less strict laws would...
Yeah, it's always the least technologically literate people pushing for these reforms. And, at least for me, Discord doesn't offer a service that can't be replicated by someone else anyway.
I like tabletop games, but it's so hard to get a group of people together in a room for a few hours to play. Also, it is tough to get people to learn the rules to a new game without them just getting bored or distracted.
