I think what helps me with Google is that I proofread in alpha -- meaning, from finished renders in the alpha verson of the game, so I'm only translating one sentence at a time (when I come upon one that didn't get translated by the dev beforehand, which does sometimes happen.) Yeah, I've also seen that DeepL is great for JP; also, I've only the one experience with German>English to go by with it, so it may be that other users will get better results on that. All I can say for sure is give it a shot, jsut don't be too surprised is you get some pretty cursed results...- Shipfan66

Except that pineapple really does go well on certain kinds of pizza :P It's amazing with diced or chopped ham, for instance, or on a breakfast pizza (yep, those do exist!). I like it with pepperoni myself, but then I know perfectly well that I'm a weirdo :D- Shipfan66

Only bad thing I've found about DeepL is, it really doesn't seem to do so well with German >> English. When we were proofing Ep3 of Tragic Elf Life, the dev used DeepL to translate since we had no dedicated English translator. The results were horrendous; it literally made my brain hurt trying...- Shipfan66

Yep! It was just called "Public Sex Life," then later the name got changed to "Parody Sex Life." It was done in Koikatsu, and it can still be found but hasn't been updated in almost 2 years. So idk why anyone would bother downloading it nowadays. You're right though, it sure was popular back then :) -
