I'd rather the same default HS2 protag over an ugly bastard. While I do enjoy seeing someone (especially in DAZ games) put effort into a nice looking MC, I play all games with the same name anyway, so a similar look doesn't bother me too much, so what if it's a little generic.
I sometimes mash a bit once a sex scene has somewhat started but it feels like everyone is talking too much (save the conversations for when you aren't stripping each other or doing foreplay please), but I rarely if ever skip dialogue during regular gameplay.
Fnaf porn parodies? hard pass. but I can live with games having light horror elements (once in a lifetime comes to mind). it really just depends on execution for sure, though I'd rather avoid anything parodying an established horror franchise, I just don't see that working out well, at least for...
like you said, both are important and you have to strike the right balance. I like having a wide variety of sex scenes, and as long as theres generally at least one a day, or around that amount (more if the days are genuinely pretty long) I'm usually pretty happy. as for having more with the...
I like having nice *detail*, but between blue/green/red/silver/whatever else it is, if it looks good, it looks good (though I will say not a super big fan of brown eyes). the only element I'm super picky about is catgirls, if they don't have cat pupils, I don't want it.
I typically hate them. quizzes, tile puzzles, little mysteries to solve, I don't really want them unless I can skip them. at best I can put up with very short scavenger hunts.
big nay for me. I don't want to hear moans or people made noises of any kind, even if its just squelching. I can put up with music if its not terrible, but that's the hard limit to noise I want in games, and I'll sometimes still even mute them entirely.
I typically mute things entirely, though I've started doing that less lately (blame games like projekt passion or eternum for actually having really good soundtracks). but I still mute voices/moans/any other noise people might make if given the choice because I simply do not like hearing them
I rarely see it outside of ones like Roguelike: evolution, or something unlimited, but wardrobe options for the girls, with the former's being far more enjoyable since it let you mix and match (when the games modding scene was more active, you could even choose how the girls dyed their hair). I...
almost never. I cant stand RPGM or RPGM-like games (for several reasons including hating the artstyle RPGM does the sprites and maps in). Typically, thats most games that need more than one hand. I rarely see it in Ren'py games aside from specific minigames, and I can live with that, but if I...
I guess it depends on how big a part it will play in the story. I love the idea of having kids, but I find pregnancies themselves incredibly unpleasant to look at. if its just an epilogue kind of deal, or it gets skipped past, I can deal with that, but if the girl is going to spend substantial...
games with siblings *and* mother/son are probably what I play most, but father/daughter is certainly up there. cousins seems pretty boring to me, but I dont mind aunt/nephew
ayyyyy, I don't recall if sisterly lust my immediate first, but it was certainly close. I also remember teaching feeling being pretty close to when I started. Sseath and Killer7's games are also ones I greatly enjoyed
probably not the answer you'd be looking for, but "it depends". I greatly prefer 3D (as long as its not Koikatsu) to eastern/Japanese 2DCG, but well drawn western 2DCG is what is my favorite overall, I just find that ones I'd consider to be well drawn are far fewer in number. (I especially like...
I like EXTREMELY long ones. if I'm going to start a VN, I want it to last me hours on end worth of content, sadly this doesnt always happen, and sadder still, cant exactly expect a fast (or else you lose quality) update turn around for the really long ones. I like to get invested in the stories...
I dont like when theres paths that lock out other paths, or if I need to follow a PDF, but if its something as simple as a mod-file (or better, choice in the menu from the start) to just highlight "correct" choices that unlock the most scenes/add points, I can live with that.
somewhat dark *at times* is fine as long as its the main character causing it. but I hate when things like rape (done by someone other than the mc, though even when it is the MC I really don't care for it too much unless its generic somnophilia)/death happen to the love interests and find it...
Oh boy, tons of them. but in particular, midlife crisis, the two sides of love, deserted in paradise, detective necro, above the clouds (on hold), and money or morals (on hold). honestly while the last two are just on hold, I don't have the most hope. and of course anything else caught in the...
while I don't always go for a "unique" style (I'm perfectly happy with daz or HS2 if theres a bare minimum of effort put in), there are absolutely styles that will turn me away from games. I really cannot stand KK, and most eastern 2dcg games bug me for some reason. Ultimately, as long as it...
