One night for years of content lmfaoooooo. First of all its never been one night unless you are running like 40 or so mods, and even then its still "one night" of actively bug and play testing blindy vs a couple hours of waiting for the pack to install and then playing. And if you run into a bug...
Bug testing, animation fixing, and make sure hundreds of mods are compatible is a pain in the ass. Having a baseline modpack to build from is very much worth it to save time.
In the early game if its a good layout, well placed, and the scene to scene progression is thought out I don't typically mind it. I can usually navigate faster than I would by clicking on a map to skip some rooms. In the end of the game when you are trying to find those last few scenes then it...
Mega and Pixel drain but Mega way more because of batch download tool I use. Literally queue up 7 games and come back in the morning its done. Pixel is also great just because its simple and straight forward.
Lesson in Love was the closest that I could think of and that shit caught me wayyyy off guard but in a good way. I like the way it does its horror and it made me more engrossed in the story in spite of its mid gameplay. But the game itself is fairly grindy.
Midlife Crisis as tragic of a loss it was is definitely worth playing and Deviant Anomalies as well (didn't even know about that one until I just checked)
Hmmmm. Most of the games that come to mind are ones that mostly close out different routes for different characters but Fetish locator, Once in a Lifetime, and Summer with Mia 2 (This one the least) pop into mind. Although I don't think you can make a massive impact really.
The story has to be somewhat interesting but not too silly for me. Even if you have amazing animations and the highest quality art if your story goes completely off the rails in the first few minutes of a VN I'm dropping it immediately. I don't like being dropped into an insane world I want to...
I quite like 26RegionSFM, The Count, and Studio FOW before their game making days. I like these guys mostly because they make high quality animations that aren't a 5 sec loop.
Depends on the mood if I'm looking for a quick fun time then dark path, but if there's a character I instantly click with light path for them dark for everyone else. But few games actually let you do bad/evil shit that are good quality. Being the young, naive, bigus dickus having, sex adverse...
Faceless I always imagine Max Maxington (What I name my characters) as completely hollow and faceless. His only purpose is to fuck is his sisters and anything that moves.
I've been lucky and have not encountered a game breaking bug. And I like sandbox I just wish there was a more clear tracker and way to determine if you have seen all the content. Also learning how to start certain routes makes no sense sometimes.
I can't say more than 5 as the main focus. You can have however many just quickies/1 or 2 scene girls but only at most 5 main girls because anymore than that the story drags and just becomes scene after scene of sex with no context.
The Pilgrimage, Summertime Saga, and Straighten Times are the one's that come to mind but Straightened Times is a nightmare of progression so updates only but I love to come back to it.
