Like 3 games I play every update because they usually add pretty good content. Sexbot (caught this game really late so not completely fair), The Pilgrimage, and Straitened Times would have been Summertime Saga as well if it wasn't on its scamming arc.

I almost never play them unless they get experimental with their content or the character design are good and I want to see more. They are mostly a waste of time if it doesn't progress the plot,
It helps to stops me from dropping the game instantly. Some game though get too silly way too fast or they ground their game only to get completely insane out of nowhere.
