Does it only modify the stats or does it also serve as a walkthrough to help with the choices\paths? -
VN AND GRAPHICS CARD
When you play a (say, ren'py) VN, it makes zero difference. You just see ready-made images and videos. Any modern PC does that with ease. When you create one, though, the difference is massive. -
How Grindy is Man of the House?
I can't remember. There are, probably. Although you don't really neeed them, because the moneymaking minigames are not that hard. Also they can give you a bit of extra lewd stuff.- podllboq

Single playthrough or branching paths?
One playthrough is generally enough. I'd only consider a replay if I can be sure that I can get an entirely different experience. I think very few adult games can provide that.
