It depends but pretty much yeah. If the game update is too small, I'll wait a bit more.
But if it's a new game release, I usually wait for the game to build up for at least 5-10 updates before trying it out.
Games usually not reaching that update threshold tend to end up abandoned.
I don't know, maybe either? Prefer to do both since I want to explore all content.
But my main playthrough, going for loyal route depending if the character I'm romanced with is engaging and interesting that makes me not want hurt them.
