To be fair, you don't have to use Threadripper to get a good system. Threadripper is basically only necessary if you're a prosumer. For most people, Ryzen 7000 or 9000 series should be enough. Try your best at getting 7800X3D, or wait until this winter for 9800X3D to drop and get that instead.- palpi
