I'll start with a weird vote and go Gewürztraminer!
Admittedly it might just be the cheap stuff I buy, but it has a "fresh" quality to it. Slightly tart, a little fruity, a teeny bit fizzy, just... nice to drink.
I'm of two minds on the topic.
In most cases, it is indicative of low effort slop. Toss together a SugarCube mess, use the same half dozen brazzer's scenes everyone else is using (no compression of course, your 0.0.1 needs to be AT LEAST 5gb!), shove it out the door and open your Patreon.
But...
I did something like that not too long ago (keys locked in car, phone locked in apartment), only it was the middle of the night, and it's still over 90F at midnight out here....
Basically spent the whole night just sitting in the parking lot trying to not drop dead of dehydration, waiting for...
Good lord this game has gotten weighty since the last time I played it. Almost 30gb?!?!
Thank the various entities that there is a LQ option that is only.... 10gb.... Well I suppose it was time to clean out my old hard drive anyway, oof.
This game... I was a real DC apologist at first. I'd hang out in his drawing streams, commiserate with the coding headaches, try and calm folks down between updates....
But now?
Between the patreon re-write and the PAINFUL delays I'm just.... kinda done. I figure I'll pick it up whenever it...
My only "problem" with this game is the branching paths mean I have to replay it so many times to see everything.
And yet, I'm still compelled to actually replay it anyway!
The 2nd and 3rd chapters are at least a little less... obtuse? Still grindy but you're less likely to get completely stuck like Chapter 1 was infamous for.
Granted, the story also goes completely off the rails by that point, but.... that's something at least?
Loved this game. A bit grindy at times, some steps are a little obtuse (obvious lulls where update waits occurred, etc), and the ending was a bit weak but overall a definite favorite.
Thanks!
