You can just decompile the entire code and check it by yourself if you cry because of the network-access. If you can complain you can also check the code it's not that hard. The clear reason why I put a date out there was because I felt pressured. People said the game is abdonded so I saw in my calender and picked a date far in the future which I thought is an easy thing to do in that given time.
