Not a real fan of naming the characters if the character has a background or history. In games like skyrim, I don't care because the character has no background so you don't have any relation to a name. But if the characters history influences the story, the characters should have a fixed name...
I don't mind if the "gaming" aspect is a bit challenging or even difficult, but the reward should be scaled accordingly.
In case the task is grindy or very time consuming, it should be removed or at least adjusted because this is time spend not having fun.
I think the amount of content also plays an important role. A game with multiple routes or alot of dialogue and scenes is more replayable than a brief plot with nearly no scenes. Though for that, the graphics and story should be at least decent.
It depends on the artstyle and story. Some stories are better told with still images (which leave room for imagination) while others benefit from detailed animations. But if the animation strongly influences the development time or release schedules, I'd 100% go for images.
Yeah, those are the worst, but I can understand if the devs do this to put their games on official channels. Though they should keep the option for an inofficial patch/fix open.
Great game, loved the plot and renders. The game had a good length for a short story, but in my opinion the ending was a bit abrupt. I wouldn't have minded one or two more rooms before the conclusion.
Though the game is quite nice and has a lot of content to offer, the size is unjustifiably huge. I really hope the author decides to split the game in multiple parts or something similar size saving in the future because ~10GB for a LQ (HD) is too damn big.
