I believe there is a fundamental reason for every cliché mechanic in game design to exist. They all serve a purpose in creating a certain style of gameplay. The problem that some Adult developers run into is that they fail to adopt traditional Game Design standards into what they make. I.E. they...
Oh if that's what you're looking for then you have to play Perverteer's games! 'Sisterly Lust' is pretty much what it says on the tin, worth a playthrough for the sake of it, I guess. But 'Tales from the Unending Void' is a freakin' planet-hopping space opera, with plenty B/S and Cousin and so...
Intriguing Noir-Style art but these feedback posts aren't exactly encouraging. Not sure if I want to even take the plunge to see it for myself. (Is it worth a little dive in for curiosities sake?)
Loved the game for a while but man does it develop slow. Feel like we've been on the same day for the past year. (Probably because of the several unfortunately distinct routes they're developing side-by-side)
After the year of development lost to the remake, I hope some actual ground can be made on finishing this thing.
You know, sometime before we all sink into the sea.
FYI NTR is present and unavoidable in the intro of the game, basically the set-up for the story, but from then on it's all completely optional.
As for the 'sandbox grind' I would call this one of the much better titles in that regard. You'll be repeating events here and there in order to build...
I really do wonder about the anthology angle these games go for, whilst remaining fundamentally identical to one another. Seems like a lot of effort to retell the same story over and over.
I might been developing an addiction to MBD; I can't help it with top tier renders, genuine character interactions and a solid narrative throughline (however drawn out it ultimately is)
I could have sworn my one had a more sensible name back when I played it- but looking it up it appears to now be called 'The Counterwar of Queen Ilyss'. (Japanese game names can be fickle.)
Great renders that are worth playing through alone, I just can't bring myself to care about the story. I'm sure it's good, but for some reason I can't convince the mush in my head to pay attention!
