As a matter of fact, I did read the posts above, and none of them say s**t about where the information comes from.
In the above posts, I discovered that the Dev doesn't have a Patreon, and someone posted about the dev's SS apparently having been updated since the original v0.7. And as I said, I...
Where can we get this info (so we don't have to ask all the time)? His itch.io hasn't had a post since September 2024 and he hasn't replied to any comments in a long time, and his SubscribeStar hides all posts. Is there a Discord for non-subscribers?
How is this still marked as ongoing after over two-and-a-half years without update, with the last information on the dev being that they're working on a "spiritual successor"?
Nope, not the same dev.
All Natural Games had rebranded a few times and abandoned games entirely. They now go under the name You must be registered for see element. and exclusively do 3D and Realistic-AI images.
And yes, it is a shame that Summer Camp was abandoned.
It looks very different from the game so far. Thematically. I'm not saying I mind, but... will it feel anything at all like Come Home, or will it just feel like I'm suddenly playing an entirely different game that happens to have the same artist?
You could always create a post in the off-topic section of the forums. That's what mods suggested that I do when I asked for the content created by a game dev (in order to keep the game's post related to the topic of the game).
Touché. Perhaps you're right, that we've been too lenient, and games should be considered abandoned after half a year unless the dev confirms otherwise.
6 months without news and it's already considered abandoned? Isn't it premature?
I mean, it might really be abandoned, but we've seen plenty of other games with A LOT longer than that without news that weren't abandoned.
April's aging was a long time ago, back when there was more drama over this and he considered changing the game's name and scrapping much of the content.
It's more early-hebe than loli now, which is probably why it made its way out of Games+
