How do I get past the first set of outfits in episode 25...I'm trying hard to give this game a chance, but its so un-intuitive and the hints aren't helping.
Some critiques so far.
1) The one sided conversations are just odd. It's like the MC doesn't actually exist and is just a hand that occasionally appears on screen. The lack of a physical MC is fine if that's the angle the dev decided to take, but right now the girl in the game is just talking...
If the authorities were involved, it would be all over the place. They would make an example of him to scare others from creating this kind of content (again, the fictional stuff, anything more and you get what you deserve) despite it being legal in many if not most states (ie. we aren't going...
It could have been someone close to him (like a parent or something), that he knew wouldn't approve of what he does. Maybe they somehow found out and now he's doing his best to hide it. We simply don't know unless he tells us.
It would largely depend on the state he lives in. Some states don't...
I really hope its more of a "x person in my life found out about this" situation and he's trying to distance himself from it and not a health or legal one.
There are thousands of pre-made assets for Daz that you can just plug and play. In my opinion that's why it's so popular. A lot of those assets are made with Blender and/or ZBrush or some other 3D program. Its animation functions are lacking though when compared to something like Blender.
I'm not saying purely for free. I have no issue with devs who accept donations, subscriptions, etc, but to base your financial situation on a game that could at any point lose all means of monetization is just stupid. And based on the dev's post, they did exactly that. Devs who make these kinds...
I am working on a game myself actually. I know what goes into it. I've found a balance between free time and development time. Its entirely possible if money isn't your primary motivator.
This'll be a hot take but oh well.
Yet another game dev in it solely for the money. As soon as the avenues for profit dry up, they drop the game for something else. Devs like this are all too common nowadays. Make a risky game for money, base your entire financial situation around the game, and...
