    Unity would be my first choice but it seems that with only one guy working on the game, it takes a lot of work to only make a smell dent into the mountain before them. Renpy is probably easier, at least it's easier to play with.

    I have ignored ratings/stars and DL'd anyway but come to realize that the ratings are quite fair and unless my inventory is really dry, I don't bother with low rated games.

    I find that if a non-english made game has at least lvl 5/10 story, that translations are the most important thing. It really kills my immersion if words are missing or if they grammar and typos are too rampant
