I try to not be too pessimistic about it, it will (and already has to some extent) change how societies act, just like the internet, telephones, radio, tv etc did in the past, but at the end of the day, humanity will just adapt and create a new normal
It's for sure super popular compared to how it used to be back 10 years ago when I was actively playing dnd. A lot more public games you can join, just within my friend circle there's like 5-6 games running, which used to be just the one I ran back in the day. And this is in a pretty rural part...
never heard of it no, looks fun with the right group of friends but so do most of these types of co op games. I find it very hard to actually find time to consistently get to play these games with people though, free time in schedules rarely match between my friends and me nowadays
it's a separate currency yes, you need to pay in one or the other. I don't know why they have two to be entirely honest, seems redundant to me but that's how it works
I definitively like 2d much better when done right, but I feel like it's much easier to have an ok enough result with 3d than 2d. 3d is for sure not a turn of at least for me
I don't exactly understand how the earning on them is different ... at some point I had more 2.0 coins than regular I'm pretty sure, now it's the opposite
has it changed a lot the past couple of years? I don't remember exactly why but I was underwhelmed when I played it last, but it's been a few years since then
