I avoid games made in Unity now like fire, don't know what's up with it but I've got only bad experiences with them. Also, I've gotten so used to renpy by now that it feels weird to use anything else lol
It really depends on the game and characters' interactions, but I get where you're coming from. Sometimes I don't mind a slow build-up and actually prefer it that way since it usually means a better payoff, but usually, I wish they would finally do the deed
I never skip, if the dialogue needs skipping then the game isn't worth your time. If you're just for the animations then there are some other media with better stuff
After a second thought, you might be right that a simple text file works better in this scenario. However, I’m curious how would it feel to manage over 100 games, including those you’ve started and plan to play in such file
That's not a bad idea. I believe Excel could be useful here for sorting and stuff.
On the other hand, that's still a lot of maintenance, some graphical interface is always better imo
Completed? Oh man, I feel like that hardly ever happens. Most games just seem to go on forever, and eventually, they get abandoned before reaching the end.
How do you keep track of games you want to play in the future or are currently playing on LC?
Right now, I'm using bookmarks, but it's becoming messy as I add more games. Any better suggestions?
- Too much grinding
- A story with too much violence, which most of the time is also unnecessary
- Plot where stuff "just happens" and overall bad quality writing
1. Eternum
2. Goddesses' Whim (easily the best animations for a game with anime style)
3. Cosy Cafe (wholesome harem)
4. My Maid Dreams of Electric Sheep
5. AI Revolution (quite new, but a great start)
Love how pregnancy is a PART of the game, not just the final scene or just a mention. Really stands out with this. Some characters could be prettier, but maybe it's the variety that makes the game good.
