Yes, that is a very good point. I was thinking more about AAA game studios. Still, early access games which are missing key functions *are* annoying, regardless of who or what the dev is. But you are right, I would give indie devs some slack. -

Sure, but a lot of AVN's are quite mediocre in either graphics, story or both. That doesn't have to be a deal breaker though. You have to be realistic. Most AVN's are one guy's passion project, but this one guy can't be good at everything. If that guy's talent happens to be writing, and he happens to be really good at it, then I am willing to put up with lazy art. Very few people are both gifted artists AND great writers.- Freyr

I think you do need to differentiate here. "Early access" porn games, like 99% of all these AVN's monetized through Patreon or SubscribeStar, I am perfectly fine with those. They are feature complete (meaning there aren't any features :ROFLMAO: beyond basic Ren'py) and the story gets added on... -

I think it is because AI mimics, but not quite replaces, real craftsmanship. It takes talent, but also time and effort to learn how to draw. And the same applies (in a different way) to 3d rendering. And of course writing as well. AI is a matter of entering the correct promt (which...- Freyr
