Damn, now YOURE doxxing me?! How could you do that to me? We used to share socks, you got the left one and I got the right one. Of course this was on account of both of us having a peg leg.
Yup, but mostly because I like to spend the weekend with my girlfriend and my family. They keep being entertaining, but I lose interest in games after some time.
One thing i find really funny is the possessiveness of AI prompts. I mean, your output can't even be copyrighted under US law, so why even bother. If I like your AI generated image, and I wanna use it, then I do.
Even more funny is the fact that the US courts decided that they were not...
Homebrew is good, but only to some certain point. Completely converting the setting might be a bit much. 5e is really built around the usual fantasy world.
I mean, some of the recent statements from Wizards of the Coast about the 5e systems and rules rival their MTG statements in stupidity. But most of it can be ignored easily. And if you can ignore their statements and just enjoy their well made system, then everything's dandy.
MTG fans are...
Yeah, they have a god complex of sorts. But their tools are great, and most stuff for pathfinder is free. But it's also a bit bloated and complex for newer players. Honestly, its a Linux/Windows type debate. Use whichever you want, nobody has the right to complain about your choice.
I mean yeah, you present things as they are, but I don't really think that you considered that it might be for the best for underage content. (See above discussion)
Yup, good takes on both matters. There might be a bobble, and the trained AIs dont dissapear when it pops.
And yeah, didn't even think of plausible deniability. They already need to prove the ages of borderline cases, so adding the filter is just making things more difficult.
People thought the internet would ruin peoples minds, before that it was writing on computers instead of paper, and yet before that it was something else. We need to stop fearmongering everytime a breakthough technology changes things and start debating the actual issues calmly intead. Hidden...
The problem here mainly lies in training the model to produce it. Since models are a kinda black box, you dont really know what they are trained on, so laws err on the side of caution by not allowing it.
I mean, AI seems to plateau after each large breakthrough. So I believe large scale to be many years in the future. I also think that as AI develops societally, we get better at handling it, probably to the point where its of no real threat. Though that is just one possibility.
Fair, addictions aren't the kinda thing you want, and "beating" it is hard. Excuse my pun.
I also struggled with an addiction that I rid myself of recently, so I understand the worry completely.
