Yea they announced in march if I am not mistaken that they would be dropping support for windows 7, 8 and 8.1 in the next major release. If you're still on windows 7 you really need to start considering either moving to linux or spend money on a new pc with win 11. You could move to win10 but... -

Honestly, considering the fact it doesn't seem like it has a lot of financial support, I think it's pretty good. Very good renders and animations in my opinion. There devs working full-time on their games that don't release content with this level of quality. -
